‘He raped me with soap on my face’: Pastor arraigned for raping woman during ‘spiritual bath’

A 46-year-old Pastor, Olamide Sobowale, of Glory Church of Christ Aladura, Oke-Itoku, Abeokuta, Ogun State,  has been ordered to be remanded in prison for allegedly raping a woman while bathing in his church backyard.

‘This is what we want’: Aggrieved PDP governors make their demands known to Jonathan

Peace still seems to be an elusive goal for the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) as there is yet no end in sight to the turmoil within its walls. Instead of laying down arms, the aggrieved governors have made their demands on President Goodluck Jonathan by  giving four conditions for resolution.
They presented their conditions at a meeting held on Sunday with the president, 16 governors and the Chairman of the Board of Trustees (BoT) of a faction of the party, Chief Tony Anenih in attendance.
